Event Camera vs Scene

Both give every guest a limited roll from a QR code. Scene costs less for small parties and keeps photos with no expiry; Event Camera costs less for bigger events, includes video, and lets guests pay their own way.

Scene details checked on from their own website. Prices change, so check theirs before you buy.

What Scene is

Scene pitches itself as every guest and every angle in one gallery, paid once per event. Guests open the camera in the browser on iPhone or Android (some iPhones open it as an App Clip), and the host runs the event from Scene's iPhone or Android app. You pick a roll of 5 to 36 shots per guest and choose when photos are revealed: during the event, after it, or a set number of hours later.

It depends on the size. Scene costs less for small events: 25 guests is $9.99 on Scene and $20.40 on Event Camera. Around 100 to 200 guests they're about even (100 guests: $49.99 on Scene, $50.30 on Event Camera, counting you as a seat). How long are photos kept?

Event Camera keeps photos for 90 days after the event and sends reminders before deleting them. Scene says photos are kept with no expiry.
