Event Camera vs Guestpix
Guestpix is a shared QR-code gallery where guests upload as much as they like and see it live. Event Camera is a disposable camera: a limited roll per guest, and one album of the shots you pick, sent after the event.
What Guestpix is
Guestpix calls itself the original QR code photo sharing platform for events. Guests scan a QR code and upload photos and videos to a private gallery in their browser, with no app or account. There's no shot limit, and photos appear in the gallery as guests add them. It also offers a digital guestbook, and hosts can turn on approval so nothing appears until they've checked it.
So it's a different kind of product. Guestpix collects everything everyone shoots. Event Camera gives each guest a short roll, like a disposable camera, so people take the photos they mean to take and you have fewer to sort.

What it costs
Guestpix party prices by guest count (Guestpix's pricing pages show both $29 and $39 for the smallest tier):
| Guests | Event Camera, you pay | Guestpix party plan |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | $30.40 | $39 (up to 50) |
| 100 | $50.30 | $49 (51 to 100) |
| 250 | $95.20 | $89 (101 to 250) |
| 500 | $145.20 | $119 (251 to 500) |
Guestpix wedding packages are $49, $89 and $119. Event Camera counts you as a seat, so "100 guests" is 101 seats. Or set Event Camera to guests pay: each guest pays $1.99 and you pay nothing.
When Guestpix is the better pick
- You want every photo from every phone, with no limit on how many.
- You want guests to see the gallery fill up during the event.
- You want a digital guestbook, or a year or more of hosting.
- Your event is large: Guestpix's flat tiers cost less above about 100 guests.
When Event Camera is the better pick
- You want the disposable-camera feel: a short roll each, so guests take the photos they mean to take.
- You want to choose what goes in the album before anyone sees it, without approving uploads one by one during the event.
- Your guests are chipping in, or your event is 5 people or fewer (free).
