Event Camera vs POV
POV is the best-known disposable camera app for events, with thousands of App Store ratings and a free plan for up to 10 guests. Event Camera publishes every price up front, lets guests pay their own way, and sends one album of the shots you pick.
What POV is
POV sells itself as a way to "capture everyone's perspective". Guests scan a QR code: on iPhone the camera opens as an App Clip, on Android it opens in the browser, so nobody installs anything. The host runs the event from POV's iPhone or Android app, sets how many photos each guest gets, and decides when photos are revealed. POV's site shows 4.9 stars from over 28,000 ratings, more than any other app compared here, and it sells photo books on the side.
